How Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojna(MMVY) Can fund your Engineering or medical college dreams?
The Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojna(MMVY) Scholarship is launched for class12th pass students of Madhya Pradesh to provide financial assistance by the Directorate of Technical Education,Madhya Pradesh. The state government will bear 100% of the tuition fee of eligible students on getting admission for courses in engineering and medicine from recognised institutions.

Eligibility of MEDHAVI Scholarship
-Be a resident of MADHYA PRADESH
-have passed 12th with MP board-70% or more marks
OR CBSE/ICSE Board -85%or more marks
-have annual family income of less than 6lakh from all sources
-have enrolled on an undergraduate course
For engineering students- Qualified JEE MAINS with rank less than 1,50,000 and have taken admission in an engineering college can apply
For medical students - Qualified NEET and have taken admission in government/private medical or dental college can apply
-Applicable on all category student (UR,OBC,SC,ST)
Benefits
1.General coverage- 100% of tuition fee will be covered(excluding mess,hostel fee and caution money)
2. For Engineering students-
Government Engineering college-Full amount of tuition fees will be covered.
Private Engineering college-1,50,000 Rs.per annum or the actual tuition fee,whichever is less.
3. For Medical students-
Government or private medical or dental college-Complete tuition fee coverage will be provided.

- Marksheet of 10th &12th class
- Income certificate-less than 6lakh per annum
- Aadhar card
- Bank details-Account linked with same number as your Aadhar card
- Proof of Admission
When to apply for the MEDHAVI Scholarship in 2026.
For the 2026-2027 session,dates will be announced soon. Although exact dates aren’t published yet but trend suggests-
For the last academic session(2025-2026) application opened around mid 2025 to the final deadline typically near January 2026.
But the actual dates will be announced officially.
Till then prepare all your documents so that you can apply for it as soon as the window opens.
Application process
The application process for MEDHAVI Scholarship 2025 is straightforward and you can easily fill out the scholarship application form by following these steps-
Step 1: Visit medhavikalyan.mp.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the icon button on the top right corner .
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Application for MEDHAVI Only' tab.
Step 4: Click on the 'Register for Academic Year’link.
Step 5: Click on the 'New Applicant' tab, enter the 'Samagra ID' (9 digit number) and click on the 'Verify' button.
Step 6: Enter the OTP (received on the registered phone number of the student) and click on the 'Submit' button.
Step 7: Enter the details on the 'Registration Form' and submit it.
Step 8: Now, click on the 'Login' button and enter the User ID and password (Note:- Students will receive a reference number, User ID, and password after registration process).
Step 9: Fill in the details in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Step 10: Cross-check the details and click on the 'Submit' button.
Bond after scholarship
Bond rules for NEET-Under MEDHAVI scholarship,students who receive scholarship for medical colleges are obliged to sign a service bond -After completing the degree,students will serve in state’s rural government hospitals.
For government medical college-2 year of service bond with 10 lakhs penalty if student fails to fulfill the bond.
For private medical college-5 year of service bond with 25 lakhs penalty if student fails to fulfill the bond.
If a student leaves a course midway then 30 lakh seat leaving bond is applicable.
Bond rules for JEE
There’s no bond obligation for engineering students under this scheme.
